INSTRUCTIONAL GUIDING

For those anglers just getting started in fly fishing or for those anglers who need to brush up on some of their fly fishing skills.

These trips allow me to serve as your casting coach and fishing guide all at once and teach in "real world" angling situations. Emphasis is placed on learning skills that you can use again, with or without a guide.

 

 

Lake Texoma: Stripers, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Panfish, Kentucky Spotted Bass

Lake Ray Roberts: Largemouth Bass, White bass, Panfish

 

RATES:

Half Day (about 4 hrs.): Please call or email for current rates.

Full Day (about 8 hrs.): Please call or email for current rates.

All trips include snacks, drinks, leaders, and flies. Lunch is provided on full day trips. (No alcoholic beverages allowed onboard) Tackle is available if needed.

Anglers should provide:

glasses/sunglasses (a very important safety item when fly fishing!)
sunscreen
cap or hat
foul weather gear
clean shoes with non-marking soles

fishing license:

-for Lake Texoma - angler will need either a Lake Texoma License or both Texas and Oklahoma fishing licenses

-For Ray Roberts - Texas fishing license

All fishing is done from the safety and comfort of a 20' 488VS Ranger bass boat.
