Welcome to Flywater Angling Adventures!

It is my hope that Flywater Angling Adventures will become a great resource for you to explore the world of fly fishing. Every few weeks you will find a "Flywater Tip" below this main column of the home page.

The other pages will detail the professional services that I offer:
  • Guiding Services
  • Instructional Guiding
  • Casting Instruction with both indivduals and groups

My guiding services are provided on two premier North Texas lakes:
  • Lake Texoma (a world-class striper fishery)
  • Lake Ray Roberts (known for largemouth bass)

Thank you for your interest in Flywater Angling Adventures!

And if you have any questions or if you're interested in scheduling a fly fishing adventure, please contact me from the More/Contact menu above.

Blue Damsel Hosted Trip!

There has been a couple of cancellations on my April 8-12 hosted trip to the Orvis Endorsed Blue Damsel Lodge near Missoula Montana. So the good news is that I have a couple of slots open.

This is a trip for serious fly fishers seeking dry flyaction on fabled Montana waters with unequaled lodging, food, and guides. It is timed to be dead center in the Skwala hatch . . . large stoneflies that produce some of the best dry fly action of the year.

Loop Lab 101:
"Foundations in FlyCasting"

The 2013 session of LL101 will be held May 4 at Cedar Mills Marina and Resort on Lake Texoma.

This is the best location we have ever found for Loop Lab. Lots of casting room with good grass, a great restaurant, and first class lodging.

Loop Lab 101 is designed for those who are just beginning to flyfish and really want a great foundation to build their casting skill upon. And if you are an intermediate level caster you will find that LL101 will provide the framework for quantum improvments.
Contact me ASAP if interested in either of these opportunities.
